		<description>It might be too late, but there is very interesting CMS framework called Symphony CMS. Templating is done with XSLT transformations. You have total control over data structures (sections) and their creation. You can then import these structures in data sources and process them with filters, sorters etc. After that you associate data sources (XML) with pages and write XSLT templates for those pages, converting XML source to XHTML.
